Spring in Alice: Coming Together as a Community
Spring in Alice Springs is a season of gathering.
The desert comes to life with colour, and so does the community, finding fresh ways to connect, be active, and enjoy the outdoors. At MPH Projects, we’re proud to have built and upgraded facilities that become central to this springtime rhythm, places where people come together, share experiences, and strengthen the bonds of community.
Aquatic and Leisure Centre
As the days warm, the Alice Springs Aquatic and Leisure Centre fills with families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts. It’s more than a pool, it’s a hub of connection. Children learning to swim, lap swimmers chasing goals and groups gathering on the lawns all bring the facility to life. MPH Projects’ work here has helped ensure the centre is a safe, modern and welcoming environment for everyone.

Tennis Courts
Spring evenings are perfect for a hit of tennis under the cooling sky. The courts we’ve redeveloped have become a favourite spot for after-work games, weekend competitions and coaching for the next generation of players. These spaces aren’t just for sport; they’re for laughter, teamwork and healthy living, all in the spirit of community.
Desert Park
Alice Springs Desert Park is at its most spectacular in spring, when wildflowers bloom and wildlife is active. It’s a place where locals and visitors come together to experience the desert’s beauty and cultural stories. MPH Projects has contributed to facilities that make the park more accessible and engaging, allowing it to remain a place of learning, recreation and shared pride.
A Season of Shared Spaces
Spring reminds us that community thrives in shared spaces. Whether it’s cheering for a friend on the tennis court, enjoying a family day at the pool, wandering through the Desert Park, or hiking together at Kings Canyon, these places are the backdrop for togetherness.
At MPH Projects, we take pride in knowing that the facilities we help build are not just structures, but catalysts for connection, where Alice Springs gathers, celebrates and grows stronger every spring.
