Kings Canyon Rim Walk

Empty white background.

MPH Projects took on a unique and pioneering challenge when contracted by the Northern Territory Government to construct new stages of the concrete and stone rim walk.

In a world-first, the team faced the challenge of transporting staff and cement products via helicopter due to the remote and rugged terrain of the area. Additionally, extreme summer heat significantly reduced the lifting capacity of the helicopter, requiring the establishment of color-coded "helipads" atop the canyon to ensure precise and efficient delivery of freight.
