Building Education Infrastructure That Supports Community

Education facilities play a critical role in shaping strong, resilient communities, particularly across regional and remote Northern Territory.

At MPH Projects, education builds have long formed an important part of our work, delivering practical, fit-for-purpose spaces that support learning, training, and community connection.

We’re pleased to share that MPH Projects has recently been selected for a new education project with Catholic Education Northern Territory / Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (OLSH) Catholic College, Alice Springs. While further details will be shared once formally released, this project continues our ongoing involvement in delivering education infrastructure across Central Australia.

A Track Record in Education Projects

MPH Projects has delivered a range of education and training facilities across the Northern Territory, working in both urban and remote environments. These projects vary in scale and purpose, but all are built with a focus on durability, functionality, and long-term community use.

Some recent education projects include:

  • Larapinta Child and Family Centre – Alice Springs  —  VIEW PROJECT
  • The Larapinta Child and Family Centre was delivered as a multi-use education and community facility, incorporating:
  • Long day care facilities
  • A family centre
  • Commercial kitchen
  • Associated landscaping works

The project provides a dedicated space supporting early childhood education alongside broader family services within the Larapinta community. Facilities like this play an important role in supporting early learning pathways and accessible community services in Alice Springs.

Ntaria Trade  Training Centre – Hermannsburg — VIEW PROJECT

  • MPH Projects completed the Ntaria Trade Training Centre to support vocational education and skills development in a remote community setting. The project included:
  • A new classroom and training space
  • Male, female and accessible ablutions
  • Visiting officer accommodation

The facility was delivered within a ten-week construction period, providing essential infrastructure to support trade training and local skills development.

Walangurru School Administration Block – Kintore —   VIEW PROJECT

In Kintore, MPH Projects constructed a new administration building at Walangurru School. Delivering education infrastructure in remote locations requires careful planning, local engagement, and experience working in challenging conditions — all of which are critical to ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Education Infrastructure and Community Impact

While every education project is different, the common thread is impact. Purpose-built facilities support:

  • Early learning and childcare access
  • School administration and teaching delivery
  • Trade training and workforce development
  • Long-term community services in regional and remote areas

By delivering education infrastructure that meets real community needs, projects like these contribute to stronger learning environments and improved access to services — outcomes that extend well beyond the construction phase.

Looking Ahead

The upcoming project with Catholic Education NT and OLSH Catholic College represents the next step in MPH Projects’ continued involvement in education construction across Central Australia. As details become available, we look forward to sharing more about the scope and delivery of this project.

At MPH Projects, we’re proud to contribute to education facilities that support communities today and into the future.
